Above: BBC TV Look North presenter Harry Gration opened Silsden Methodist Church's Bike Festival on June 28. The festival, featuring model bikes created by community groups, is open this weekend and next. Harry, who joined a festival service at the church, told those present: "You have a very special community here in Silsden." He had been impressed when he called at Silsden with colleague Amy Garcia during their Tour de Yorkshire tandem ride for Sport Relief in March. Harry is pictured above with Silsden Methodist Minister the Rev Ruth Crompton. The wooden bikes for the festival were produced at Fab Lab, Keighley. The following exhibits adorned the church.
